Death You Say? Who Cares?

It is frightening to know you have a bad heart and in need of immediate help. But you get no help because of one simple fact…
It is illegal and will not become legal unless the conscientious few will come to grips with certain inhibitions. Man deserves a lot of credit for the many wonder drugs discovered for his health and well being,but when a prominent religious figure rants and raves against a cure,what is left to do?

Want to know what this is all about? It is about stem cell research. Great and wonderous works of health and healing…but who cares that the successes of stem cell research will save many lives? It has very promising attributes. The walls of resistance are put in place,vehemently denying the benefits one might receive.

Stem cell research is a great wonder of science some think borders on abomination. They say it flirts with the very laws of God. In part,I agree with the nay sayers of this subject.  The destruction of human embryos for any purpose contradicts the intent of public and health officials.

The church supports reasearch on adult cells and the promisiing alternatives to embryonic research. There are great and wondrous things to be achieved.  Take a look!
Adult stem cells are more effective than embryonic stem cells in blood formation
We can repair heart damage
Form heart muscle
Form blood vessels
Regenerate the spinal cord. 

This is just to name a few of the advances to be achieved. Should I tell you more?

Form kidney tissue
Bone marrow transformed into liver cells
Repair retina
It is not good to look into the eyes of death knowing we have continued life within our grasp. Sometimes it is rewarding to reach just a little outside of that grasp to know heart tissue can be regenerated from heart stem cells? Maybe you know the stem cells from the liver forms heart tissue.

If now you are still waiting,or know of someone waiting for a new heart; Tell those who are holding the keys to life within a simple answer. That answer is….Yes to stem cell research. Why do we have to realize how important life is when knocking at death’s door? I say imperatives and importance are two words sketched in the brotherhood of life. Hang on to it! It is worth living!
